Congratulations to MPWR Lab members on a successful International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS) conference, held in Baltimore, MD on September 17-20, 2025!
Dr. Mahoney presented a talk entitled “Measurement Discrepancies in Reporting of Completed Rape among Women: Race/Ethnicity and Sexuality/Gender Comparisons” on a symposium entitled “Assessing Trauma in Marginalized Populations: Symptom Differences, Reporting Discrepancies, and Measurement Gaps.” Graduate students Britta Beck, Ellie McLane, and Reagan Fitzke all presented posters. Finally, Dr. Mahoney and Reagan led the Trauma + Substance Use Disorders (SUD) SIG meeting, which had a stellar turnout and discussion, and featured talks by Dr. Emily Dworkin, Diana Ho, and Dr. Terrell Hicks.
We thank everyone for their participation in our presentations and interest in our work, and send special thanks to our collaborators and friends who made all of this possible. We hope to see everyone again next year in San Antonio!
