Reagan Fitzke receives F31 from NIAAA!

MPWR Lab Ph.D. student, Reagan Fitzke, received a Notice of Award for her NIH F31 Predoctoral Fellowship from NIAAA in September of 2025! Her project entitled “An Investigation and Application of Alcohol and Cannabis Co-Use Protective Behavioral Strategies in the Context of Sexual Assault Prevention among College Women” was funded for $140,000 over the course of three years to develop a measurement tool for alcohol and cannabis-related safety behaviors to mitigate sexual assault risk among college women. Reagan sends special thanks to her sponsorship team, including Dr. Mahoney, Dr. Jennifer Read at the University at Buffalo, and Drs. Eric Pedersen and Mark Prince at the University of Southern California for their support on this project. The funding will support Reagan through her doctoral dissertation research.
